Am 30. April 2020 sollte das Minimal Utopia Orkestra den neuen Vergnügungsabend „Tanz in den utopischen Mai“ ausläuten und zusammen mit dem Publikum in den Party Mode übergehen. Die Auswirkungen der Pandemie verhinderten den zweiten Auftritt dieser Formation. Als Ersatz dafür gibt es nun einen Mitschnitt des Premieren-Konzerts im Berliner radialsystem vom 18. Februar diesen Jahres. Ein Großteil der Künstler absolvierten in den vergangenen Jahren ufafabrik-Konzerte zusammen mit den Heimatliedern aus Deutschland. Im Minimal Utopia Orkestra treffen sie sich auf einer anderen musikalischen Plattform und komponieren unter der Leitung von David Beck ihren eigenen Sound, der Folkloreelemente nur noch zitiert und daraus etwas Neues und Globales schafft. Der rote Faden ist hier vor allem der Groove.

On April 30^th 2020 the Minimal Utopia Orkestra should outroduce the new entertainment evening "Dance into Utopian May" and introduce the follwoing dance party. The effects of the pandemic prevented this formation from appearing for the second time at all. As a replacement, there is now a stream of a best-of-recording of the premiere concert in the Berlin radialsystem, performed  on February 18^th  this year. A large number of the artists have performed ufafabrik concerts in the past years together with the Ensemble Heimatlieder aus Deutschland. In the Minimal Utopia Orkestra these artists and their friends meet on a different musical platform and compose their own sound under the direction of David Beck. Here they only quote folklore elements, use electronic patternsas well  and as such create something new and global. The main topic fort hem and always will be groove. Enjoy.
